Day 5
We address really in the outback now. Once past Lyndhurst, the road is dirt and the challenge begins (well the challenge is really being at home writing this…).
We stopped at Maree, start of the Oodnadatta track and camel depot. There are some relics of the trains that were the lifeblood for many out back communities. A little further on, we camped at Coward Springs – a must do for anyone traveling out here. The thermal springs are not large yet Coward Springs is a magic place.
