Day 1
We are all packed, 2009 Jayco Swan Outback behind our 2002 Nissan Patrol TB48 auto. We are not going anywhere of course, Covid-19 has seen to that.
It’s early but we can’t sleep, excitement has trumped rest. We are planning to leave at at a casual 8 am but someone should tell our bodies that!
We want to get past Dubbo today and free camp ready for the push onto Broken Hill tomorrow. There will be no visit to the excellent zoo or Old Dubbo Gaol, just a stop for fuel and any supplies we have forgotten.
